Had to run an errand today. And you know what, when I parked the lexus it hit me. This is a 10 year old car with 180k km. Not a single issue with it, not a speck of rust. And this gen IS i think has aged REMARKABLY well compared to some of the other stuff from the mid to late 2000s.

250 AWD. Its my winter car. canada snow storms make it a stupid decision to get anything but AWD for a winter car. + the snows and I;ve only gotten stuck once when we got like 36 inchs in a matter of hours.

It really has aged well. I’d argue that it looks even better today than it did when new, due to how overwrought everything is these days.
These will still look fantastic in another 10, 20, 30 years.

So true! 9/10 the fun of the BMWs and Audi’s I’ve had, with 1/10 of the problems. I’ve had mine over a year, and while I don’t love it, it is a better commuting appliance than most. Ad line should be “When you should be driving a Camry but your soul isn’t completely dead yet ”

I like the new ones a lot, preadetor face and all. It loks good on it because it was DESIGNED for it. cares like the ES where it was slapped on after look like ass
